Msc¹ - Muscular Sytem Tone
Msc¹ Tone contains a proprietary blend of HMB, OKG and BHB to support muscle tone, fat metabolism in cells and ketosis. This combination provides key metabolites and essential nutrients to support muscle tissues and fat metabolism pathways. The formulation also provides a source of exogenous ketones which support the body’s ability to metabolise fat as a source of energy.
→ Supports maintenance of muscle mass, tone, strength and function
→ Supports fat metabolism pathways and lipid turnover
→ Provides a supply of exogenous ketones to support ketosis
We recommend pairing your Msc¹ regime with weekly resistance training, regular physical activity and a balanced diet that includes sufficient calories from protein. The recommended protein to be consumed is at least 1.8grams per kg of body weight.
You have over 600 muscles in your body. They are responsible for conscious movement and subconscious bodily functions such as breathing and digestion. Muscles are a fundamental organ for maintaining physical function and mobility, but there are also metabolic benefits to maintaining healthy muscle mass and tone. Developing and maintaining muscle tone requires you to use your muscles actively, however maintaining muscle mass becomes more difficult with age. Body fat plays the important role of protecting organs and providing a reserve of energy. Many notice a change in fat distribution and volume with age as caloric requirements and lipid metabolism changes. It is important to maintain muscle volume and tone as you age, but biological changes over the age of 30 result in a decline in muscle mass of 3-5% per decade. This change is one of the first external signs of aging.
Glucose is the primary fuel source used to power your muscles when you consume carbohydrates. When you have more glucose in your system than you can use, your body stores the excess in your liver and muscles in the form of glycogen. When those tanks are full, surplus glucose gets stored as lipids in fat cells.
Msc¹ Tone provides a unique combination of HMB (myHMB®), OKG, BHB, with a selection of other ingredients. This combination provides key metabolites and essential nutrients to support muscle tissues and fat metabolism pathways.
→ Supports maintenance of muscle mass, tone, strength and function
