What the test measures
The NutriPATH GI Standard Microbiome Profile is a targeted panel that looks at your gut ecosystem from several angles:
- The balance between the main groups of gut bacteria, and your beneficial bacteria
- Bacterial pathogens, H. pylori, viruses, parasites and worms
- Opportunistic bacteria, yeasts and fungi, and microbes that shape gas production
- Digestion markers, including pancreatic elastase, fat digestion and pH
- Gut barrier, inflammation and immunity markers, including zonulin, calprotectin and secretory IgA
- Short-chain fatty acids and beta-glucuronidase

How it works
- Your test kit is posted to you.
- You collect your sample at home, following the instructions that come with the kit.
- You send it back to the lab, again following the kit instructions.
- Once your results are in, we have your 1-hour consult together.
