You've done the GP visits. You've Googled until 2am. Maybe you've had blood tests come back "normal" while you still feel terrible — or you're facing something complex and nobody's connecting the dots.
This isn't a 15-minute appointment. This is a deep-dive session with someone who has spent over a decade researching functional medicine, genetics, and longevity science — and who has personally navigated the kind of health crisis that changes everything.
What Actually Happens
This is a 60-75 minute one-on-one video consultation, but the work doesn't stop when the call ends. After the session, Lisa spends additional time researching your specific case and sends you a detailed follow-up — summaries, studies, resources, testing recommendations, product links, and specialist referrals where needed. Expect to spend 2-3 hours working through the materials she sends you.
Before your session, you'll complete a comprehensive intake questionnaire so Lisa can review your history in advance and hit the ground running.
What Lisa Covers
- Review of your health history, current labs, medications, and supplements
- Genetic and epigenetic insights using advanced genomic testing (myDNA, The DNA Company)
- Testing recommendations — thyroid panels, hormones, organic acids, microbiome, cell blueprint, heavy metals, nutrigenomics, and more
- Personalised supplement protocol built around your specific needs (starting with foundational immune and gut support)
- Lifestyle, nutrition, and training recommendations informed by your genetics
- Analysis using Lisa's proprietary Immune Age assessment — a tool she developed to evaluate how well your immune system is ageing, one of the most critical and overlooked markers in longevity
- Connections to Lisa's international network of doctors, researchers, and specialists when your case requires it
This Isn't Surface-Level Advice
Lisa doesn't hand you a generic supplement list and send you on your way. She researches your specific case — often spending additional hours outside the session reviewing your labs, genetics, and health history in detail. What you receive is a prioritised, written roadmap: which tests to run and why, what to address first, which supplements to introduce and in what order, and what to watch for as things shift.
For clients who continue into ongoing work, Lisa builds adaptive protocols that evolve as new test results come in — adjusting recommendations based on what your body is actually telling us, not a one-size-fits-all template.

Why Lisa
Lisa Tamati is a Genetics Practitioner and Health Optimisation Coach who has spent over a decade in functional medicine, epigenetics, and longevity science. She co-founded Aevum Labs, a New Zealand biotech company developing science-backed supplements for ageing and immunity, alongside leading longevity physician Dr. Elizabeth Yurth.
As host of Pushing The Limits — a globally ranked health podcast with 450+ episodes, 500,000+ downloads, and 2.2 million YouTube views — Lisa has interviewed more than 500 of the world's leading longevity scientists, physicians, and researchers. That network isn't just for the podcast. When a client's case requires specialist input, Lisa knows who to call.
She has also navigated her own family's health crisis firsthand — when her mother Isobel suffered a massive aneurysm and stroke that left her in a coma, doctors said she would never recover. She was also given a terminal cancer diagnosis. Lisa refused to accept either outcome. Through relentless research, advocacy, and an intensive rehabilitation programme, she brought her mother through both. Isobel is now 84 and living at home under Lisa's care. That experience drives everything she does in this practice.
